Basha is an unusual clay artist who uses no wheel but builds with 25 lb slabs of clay, torn apart, textured and returned into shapes. She creates functional pieces as well as sculptured whimsical pottery with a sense of humor. These museum quality pieces are both artistic and useful.

She enjoys creating textures in clay and feels that her hands and the clay will tell her just what to create. Clay can be challenging and satisfying at the same time. Thus, clay is merely a vehicle for expressing what she feels.

All of her work is inspired by nature. With use of different glazes, textures and shapes, she gives a rather unique style that says “touch me” to all her pieces of work.

Before moving to Florida full time, she lived on Cape Cod with her husband where she was represented in galleries and the Dennis Fine Arts Museum. Her work is internationally acclaimed in Canada, Italy and Israel.
